Make the ending deliberate

A session can finish after one planned exercise or at a comfortable time boundary. Decide on that boundary before the next attempt becomes an obligation. The purpose is to leave the game with a clear stopping point, not to impose a perfect schedule.

Check the supported exit process

Learn how your chosen title saves progress and handles leaving the current mode. Do not assume every menu pauses an online environment. Use the official help when the behaviour is unclear, especially before closing a game during an active interaction.

Keep one small note

Write the location, the task you completed and one question for next time. There is no need for a detailed log of every cast. A short note reduces the amount of rediscovery needed when you return after a few days.

Let the result remain ordinary

A quiet session does not need a remarkable catch to count as enjoyable. You may simply have learned a control or explored a new view. Keep that observation without turning it into a claim about performance, wellbeing or a guaranteed benefit of playing.

Try it next session

  1. Finish the planned exercise or reach your chosen boundary.
  2. Exit using the game’s supported process.
  3. Leave one clear next action in your notes.
